PM SHRI Schools
“PM SHRI Schools” is a centrally sponsored scheme by the Government of India. This initiative targets to develop Schools for Rising India in which every student feels motivated and valued, where a safe learning environment provides a wide range of learning experiences to students. In phase-II KV Jakhoo Hills, Shimla also selected as PM SHRI School. Now PM SHRI K.V. Jakhoo Hills, Shimla is going to offer attractive physical infrastructure and appropriate resources conducive to learning for all students.
A plathora of activities such as educational trips and field visits ,Medical check-ups , Expert talks ,Career guidance and counselling ,seminars on personal hygiene and on 21st century skills etc are to be carried out under this scheme. In addition to these, this scheme is also vitally going to enrich the resources of the Vidyalaya such as vending machines and incinerators ,medicinal Garden ,drip irrigation system, maintained washrooms ,Potable water points,digital library, Interactive panels, smart classrooms ,toy library and what not. In a nutshell PM SHRI K.V. Jakhoo Hills, Shimla is going to set up new benchmarks of success under the umbrella of this scheme.
